PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten the resonance frequency of an NMR detector. SOLUTION: Coil bands 12 and 13 are mutually opposingly formed on the inner wall surface of a ring-shaped dielectric body 11, electrodes 14 and 16 are formed on its upper surface, and electrodes 15 and 17 are formed on its lower surface. This detector operates in a half-wavelength resonance mode. As electromagnetic waves are generated inside the dielectric body 11 at the time of resonance and the wavelength of the electromagnetic waves become short due to wavelength shortening, it is possible to heighten a resonance frequency by using a dielectric body with a large dielectric constant.
