PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device excellent in the stock property of ejected transfer paper and capable of being installed in restricted space. SOLUTION: The width of the vertical part 42a of an image forming part 30 is set so that the leading edge of the using feasible maximum-sized transfer material ejected in an paper ejection space falls within a main body width range and a supporting member 43 consisting of sheet metal for connecting the image forming part 30 and an image read part 20 is arranged at the downstream-side end part of the paper ejection space 50. Thus, since the transfer material ejected to the space 50 is not protruded from a main body because the leading edge thereof is properly regulated by the sheet metal 43, the storing property of the ejected transfer material is drastically enhanced. Besides, the image forming device can be installed if there is the space as much as the main body width.
