PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable remote communication from a center terminal according to master sub-address information even when sub-address information, which is previously stored in a sub-address storage means, to be ordinarily used is not known. SOLUTION: When sub-address information, which is previously stored in a sub-address storage means 8 of a network control unit(NCU) 3, to be ordinarily used is forgotten in a center terminal 1, the center terminal 1 transmits a call setting message through an ISDN line 2 to the NCU 3 with the master sub-address information as incoming sub-address information. When the sub- address information, which is previously stored in the sub-address storage means 8, to be ordinarily used is not coincident with the incoming sub-address information of the call setting message incoming from the center terminal 1, in the NCU 3, this information is compared with the master sub-address information. In the case of coincidence as a result of comparison, this call setting message is received and communication is performed.
