PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment for effectively informing an operator that a holding function is on. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment comprises at least one operating members 101 to 109 for designating a predetermined operation, a control means receiving a designation from the members 101 to 109 to control to conduct the predetermined operation, a cover B capable of covering the predetermined member 102 to 107 of the at least one members 101 to 109, and invalidating means for invalidating the operating designation from the members 101, 108, 109 except the members 102 to 107 of the at least one members 101 to 109 in the case of disposing at the position of covering the predetermined member 102 to 107 with the cover B.
