PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display as many broadcast programs that are currently being broadcasted as possible, together with their progress information in one program guide picture 12 in the monitor 11 with a speaker of an AV system for digital broadcasting reception. SOLUTION: Channels and program names are displayed about the broadcast programs, that the currently broadcasted on the program guide screen 12. As for the progress of a broadcast program, the whole range of the progress is divided equally into, e.g. three parts, and three ranks A, B and C are made, for instance, in the of small amount of progress. Luminance is divided into large, intermediate and small parts, which respectively correspond to A, B and C. The channel of each broadcast program in the screen 12 is displayed by luminance corresponding to the progress rank of the broadcast program, so that the user can find out the progress.
