The heat exchanger consists of a series of flexible e.g. plastic tubes (20) carrying a fluid and set in horizontal rows separated by spacing supports (31, 32). The supports are made from rigid rods and mainly corrugated, with the tubes resting against the concave surfaces of the corrugations. The two ends of each rod are straight and act as spacers for the adjacent rows. In variants of the design the tubes can be supported in their rows by corrugated adhesive straps or rods with balls to maintain the spacing between them.
