PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustor being fed with liquid fuel intermittently in which offensive smell of fire extinction is eliminated even under a state where tar is deposited. SOLUTION: Deposition of tar on the vaporization face in the vaporizer of a combustor is estimated and the brake strength or brake timing of a combustion fan is controlled. When deposition of tar exceeds a preset upper limit, combustion is stopped forcibly.
