PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable inter-connecting system capable of connecting plural optical signals. SOLUTION: This optical inter-connecting system is capable of connecting plural optical array connectors 22 between assemblies. The optical array connectors 22 are arranged, so as to minimize the occupied area on a base plate by the assemblies. A safety mechanism 26 is provided for the purpose of preventing light from leaking in the engaged and disengaged states.
