PURPOSE: Head cover unit leakage prevention structure of a closed compressor is provided to prevent refrigerant leakage between a low pressure side and a high pressure side in a head cover unit of a closed compressor. CONSTITUTION: A projection for preventing leakage(20) is formed on the top of a partition wall(10p) dividing a high pressure side(10t) and a low pressure side(10b) of a head cover(10). A groove for preventing leakage is formed to a valve plate(14) corresponding to the projection for preventing leakage. If the head cover and the valve plate are coupled, with interposing a gasket(13) between, leakage between the high pressure side and the low pressure side is completely shut off, while the projection for preventing leakage is fitted into the groove for preventing leakage and the gasket is fitted between the projection for preventing leakage and the groove for preventing leakage.
