<p>A non-aqueous electrolyte comprising an organic solvent and a solute dissolved in the organic solvent, wherein the solute is a lithium salt containing at least one organic anion derived from at least one compound selected from the group consisting of phthalimide, a phthalimide derivative, phthalimidine and a phthalimidine derivative. The non-aqueous electrolyte is less prone to reaction with a negative electrode even during storage for a long period at a high temperature when used in a primary cell or a secondary cell. Accordingly, the non-aqueous electrolyte can provide a non-aqueous electrolyte cell excellent in storage stability, and a secondary cell having improved charge-discharge cycle characteristics.</p> |
