The coating composition may be a dispersion in water or organic solvent and may additionally contain a colouring agent, a taste improving agent, a flavouring agent, a lubricant, a filler, a shielding agent, a binder or a surface active agent. The particles may have been preliminarily dyed. In the examples, the coating compositions contain (1) 100 g. cellulose acetate phthalate, 10 g. nylon particles, 430 g. acetone, 430 g. isopropyl alcohol; (2) 50 g. hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, 5 g. dyed nylon particles, 400 g. methylene chloride, 400 g. methanol, 100 g. 2-ethoxy ethanol; (3) 100 g. hydroxypropyl cellulose, 10 g. polytetrafluoroethylene particles, 400 g. methanol, 400 g. isopropyl alcohol; (8) 1000 g. gelatin, 50 g. glycerine, 100 g. nylon particles, 10 g. titanium dioxide, 2À5 g. of a food dye, 1000 g. water. |
