<p>A serum-free cryopreserved dendritic cell (DC) precursor and antigen (Ag)-loaded DC composition and a method of obtaining such a composition is disclosed. The method includes cryopreserving the cells in a manner effective to result in good recovery, viability, maintenance of the ability to differentiate into mature DC for DC precursors and maintenance of DC phenotype and Ag-specific immune function for mature Ag-loaded DC.</p> |
