Method for increasing human attentiveness and/or cerebral performance involves: (a) supplying three or more parallel-acting individual stimuli having effects on attentiveness and/or other cerebral functions and recording and/or evaluating the relevant reactions based on the stimuli; and/or (b) supplying stimuli having effects on attentiveness and/or other cerebral functions, while simultaneously generating irrelevant visual, auditory or tactile irritations, and recording and/or evaluating the relevant reactions. An Independent claim is included for corresponding apparatus, including components for generating the stimuli/irritations and for coordinating, processing and evaluating the data.
