A process is described for achieving a reduction in regulated emissions of combustion products from power generation apparatus including an industrial gas turbine or turbines, while at the same time providing a desired level of power production from such apparatus, comprising displacing an increment of power generated by such apparatus with at least an equivalent increment of power provided by the application of wet compression in one or more of said gas turbines.
