The invention relates to a method for eliminating reducible deposits, in particular, phases containing iron and manganese, in which the iron is at level III of oxidation and the manganese is at level IV of oxidation, in particular, such as oxides, oxihydroxides and hydroxides, in wells, water procurement and water treatment plants, pipe conduits or similar, using a chemical cleaning/regeneration agent which contains at least dithionite as the reducing agent. The aim of the invention is to improve a method of this type to such an extent that these deposits can be removed in a rapid and durable manner. To this end, at least one buffer substance, in particular, hydrogen carbonate salts or their aqueous solutions is added to the chemical cleaning/regeneration agent, in order to buffer the pH value. |
