<p>Supporting means (14) for receiving loop-shaped portion (12) of product (4) is claimed where support has at one end a hook-shaped appendix projecting from supporting means to facilitate the introduction of loop-shaped portion. Independent claims are included for: (1) an apparatus for hanging products with loops on support, comprising support, intermediate support, and means of transferring products from intermediate support to support which is initially placed inside intermediate support; (2) conveying means for receiving products with loops from feed to higher support, with at least two conveyors to align loops with support; and (3) a method of forming a row of products at a station and transferring row of products to a second station. Preferred Features: Support has helical corrugations where the hook forms an extension of the corrugations. A parallel conveyor threads loops onto support. A row of products is formed on tube at station (A). The row of products can be transferred from station A to station B by oscillating rocker (20). The rocker has sliding blocks on which supports rest. Transfer is by means of a linear gripper which moves support axially inside intermediate support or by means of a rotating support which can be operatively coupled to drive. Feed and out-feed is effected by pairs of flexible elements closed to form rings connected to independent drives.</p> |
