A method of erecting a flotation tank and the resulting structure. At least one structural member is employed to form a frame generally defining a tank perimeter. A tank bottom is then formed at least partially within the frame of a hardenable material and at least a portion of the at least one structural member. Tank walls are connected to the tank bottom, such as to the at least one structural member and/or the hardenable material. Corner sections, optionally having inclined surfaces, may be disposed adjacent the tank bottom and walls. Inlets and outlets can be formed in the tank walls, and any desired processing equipment for the flotation tank can be attached to the tank bottom, wall or walls, or to the top of the tank. |
