PURPOSE: A method for recovering a replicated relation in an exchange DBMS(Data Base Management System) is provided to make a quick replicated relation recovery by recording replicated relation information in a database of a master processor. CONSTITUTION: In case that a slave processor restarts(S51), a master processor confirms whether the state of a disk is normal(S52). If the disk is in the normal state, a DBMS in the master processor opens a REP(REPlication) file to copy the replicated relations, which exist in its own database and are associated with the restarted slave processor, to a relevant slave database of the disk(S53). Then the DBMS deciphers replicated relation information for the restarted slave processor from the REP file(S54). The DBMS copies the replicated relations existing in its own database to the relevant slave database of the disk using the deciphered data in sequence(S55). If all the copy for the replicated relations is completed, the DBMS loads the slave database of the disk to the database of the restarted slave processor(S56).
