PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a design tap of a beverage can is provided to increase quality of printing by completing design printing and varnish coating processes prior to tap forming process after color painting an aluminum tap coil, and increase workability and precision and prevent defects of products by injecting the printed tap coil into a tap forming process with a pitch matching device applied so that the position of the printed design is accurately placed at the desirable position of a tap which is formed thereafter. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a design tap of a beverage can comprises color painting step in which the aluminum tap coil is painted with a desirable color; design printing step in which patterns and letters of desirable characters are printed on the surface of a color painted tap coil in various colors; varnish coating step in which the surface of the design printed tap coil is coated with varnish; pitch arraying step adjusting the pitch so that the design printed on the varnish coated tap coil is placed at an exact position of a tap to be formed thereafter; press forming step in which the pitch arrayed tap coil is formed by a press such as a conversion press; and stacking step in which the press formed tap is seamed to the center of the already supplied shell.
