SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NUTRITION INFORMATION USING FOOD SUBSTITUTES

PURPOSE: A system and method for the nutrition information are provided to increase the accuracy of a food quantity, and to make a client be interested in the nutrition diagnosis by attaching a bar code on the food substitutes. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises food substitutes(11), a nutrient DB(12), and a nutrition diagnosis program(13). The food substitutes are imitated food models which are produced on the basis of measuring a standard ingredient and average intake per time/person and which are bar-coded(110). The nutrient DB stores the nutrition information of each food. The nutrition diagnosis program reads the bar code of a selected food substitutes, notices the nutrition information of each food by linking the food substitutes with the nutrient DB, and outputs the result of the nutrition diagnosis.
