PURPOSE: A portable phone having an antenna installed at a battery is provided to prevent the protrusion of an antenna, to separate the antenna from a user's brain, to reduce the size of a portable phone, and to improve the easiness of circuit design. CONSTITUTION: A connection terminal(2) to make electric waves inputted and outputted is installed at the rear side of a portable phone housing(7) on which a battery is mounted and contacted. A thin plate antenna or a coil antenna is installed in the inside of a portable phone battery. The antenna, a bear cell and the housing(7) are fixed by double-faced adhesive tape. A connection terminal(1) for the movement of electric waves between the antenna and the portable phone main unit is installed at the connection terminal slot of the rear housing of the battery so that electric waves can be exchanged with the portable phone.
