PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover only for the cutting edge used in a reaping machine. SOLUTION: This cutting edge cover has a bag-form blade receiver 24 into which the plate blade 17 in the cutting edge 11 is inserted and has the shank holder 25 for holding the shank part 16. The bag-like holder 24 is formed in a bag shape and the shank-holder 25 is formed in a clip.
