PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical cleaner device of simple configuration suitable for a conveyor belt capable of continuously dropping the residual transported objects certainly and effectively and exerting an excellent cleaning effect, the conveyor belt being equipped at the surface with appropriate projections for transportation, assuring simple installation, excellent durability, unlikely to go in failure, easy to make maintenance, easy to handle and capable of being accomplished at a relatively low cost. SOLUTION: The cleaner device for a conveyor is equipped with a hammer head 20 capable of beating the rear surface of a conveyor belt 1, a spring 18 to exert a resilient force in the direction of beating, and a cam 11 connected with the hammer head 20, whereby resilient force is accumulated in the spring 18 with rotation of the cam 11 so that the accumulated resilient force can be released when required, and with the released resilient force, the hammer head 20 beats the rear surface of the conveyor belt 1 so as to forcedly drop off the residual transported objects attached to the obverse surface, when beating the belt will be performed certainly, quickly and vigorously without synchronizing with the vibration of the belt.
