KOREAN TYPE NUTRIENT SOLUTION FILTERING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A Korean type nutrient solution filtering system is provided to efficiently filter fungus of raw water and nutrient solution and other organic materials by additionally using as a filtering medium quartz sand, activated carbon and vermiculite. The system can be manufactured by a farmhouse itself and is suitable to the domestic greenhouse circumstance by simply manufacturing the system appropriately to the domestic growing environment. CONSTITUTION: The Korean type nutrient solution filtering system is made by sequentially filling gravel, quartz sand, activated carbon, quartz sand, vermiculite and gravel into a PVC pipe as filtering mediums from the lower part of the PVC pipe, wherein a diameter and a height of the PVC pipe are 20 to 40cm and 1 to 2m respectively, filling heights of the mediums are 15 to 25cm for gravel, 20 to 30cm for quartz sand, 10 to 20cm for activated carbon, 30 to 50cm for quartz sand, 10 to 20cm for vermiculite and 2 to 5cm for gravel.
