PURPOSE: An auxiliary device exerts the function of snow chain and functions even when a wheel is damaged by water, calcium chloride, temperature, dust and so on. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary device comprises a base board(10), multiple housings(20), arms(30), auxiliary wheels(32) and a rotary disk(40). The base board(10) has one side installed on a wheel of a car. The housings(20) are radially fixed on other side of the base board(10). The arms are inserted into the housings(20) and has rack gears formed on the middle thereof. The auxiliary wheels(32) are fixed on the ends of the arms(30). The rotary disk(40) has one side having a radial groove corresponding with the rack gears and the other side having a handle(44). The housings(20) and the arms(30) freely slide. The radial groove of the rotary disk(40) faces with the other side of the base board(10). The axes of the housings(20) and the rotary disk(40) are connected to each other freely rotatably. The handle(44) is rotated to rotate the radial groove of the rotary disk(40) to move the arms(30) radially. The circumferences of the auxiliary wheels(32) and a connecting wheel(34) are expanded outside the circumference of the wheel to contact with the ground surface.
