PURPOSE: A process for preparing an extract containing anthocyanoside oligomers of above 85% by using the rind of a grape and a food or a medical composition containing the same are provided. Therefore, the extract has a visual power improving action, excellent safety and nontoxicity. CONSTITUTION: A food, health auxiliary food or medical composition comprises 0.01 to 95.00% by weight of an extract containing anthocyanoside oligomers of above 85% and one or more auxiliary substances. The rind of the grape is extracted with a mixture of ethanol and water in a ratio of 1:1 at 60 to 70deg.C to produce an extract containing an anthocyanoside component, which is added with an acidic solution of pH 3.1 to 3.5, extracted and centrifuged to produce an acidic solution containing an anthocyanoside monomer, which is fermented for 50 to 70 hr to produce anthocyanoside oligomers.
