PURPOSE: A braking pressure maintaining and releasing device automatically maintains braking pressure to brake on stopping and releases braking pressure to activate normal brake system on starting. CONSTITUTION: A braking pressure maintaining and releasing device comprises an electronic control valve(20), a controller(30), a speed sensor(40) and a start detecting switch(50a,50b,50c). The electronic control valve(20a,20b) is installed on a brake hydraulic pressure line(10) and opens and closes the hydraulic pressure line(10) by control signal. The controller controls the opening and closing of the electronic control valve(10). The speed sensor(40) detects when a car stops to close the hydraulic pressure line(10) to maintain braking pressure. The start detecting switch(50a,50b,50c) detects when the car starts to release braking pressure.
