PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nursery soil for vegetables and flowers, which yields stable growth promotion, improved disease resistance, stably increases yield and improves quality of the seedlings and the resultant vegetable and flower plants. SOLUTION: A chitosan solution wherein chitosan is dissolved in a weakly acidic organic acid and a humic acid water extract are sprayed onto Bora soil and peat moss, respectively, and blended as main components of the nursery soil to exert many effects such as stable growth promotion, improved disease resistance, increased yield and quality of the seedlings and the resultant vegetable and flower plants. |
