PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular article applicator which is carried on the back, increases a receiving capacity and enables an operator to accurately and easily walk and apply the granular articles. SOLUTION: This granular article applicator to be carried on the back is obtained by spanning a connection member 24 between a pair of the supports 21a, 21a of a frame 21 approximately parallel to a connection support 21b in a folding type outer frame 20, disposing a loop-like member 40a at one end of each strap 40, inserting the connection member 24 into the loop-like member 40a and further attaching a strap stopper 25 to the connection member 24 to hold the straps 40 at a prescribed position. The folding type outer frame 20 is obtained by arranging parallel the connection supports 21b, 22b of two frames 21, 22 which are U-shaped in the plan view and then combining the supports 21a, 21a on the same side with each other.
