<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag for an air bag device capable of accurately absorbing kinetic energy in accordance with magnitude of the kinetic energy even when occupants with different kinetic energies interfere with the air bag during inflation. SOLUTION: In the air bag 10, a circumferential rim vicinity of an inflow opening 12 for flowing in inflating gas G and a ceiling part 14 vicinity facing the inflow opening are connected, a tether 16 is provided regulating an inflation shape, and a vent hole 13 is provided exhausting the inflating gas. The tether 16 is formed with a width size capable of blocking the vent hole, and it is arranged near the vent hole so as to be able to block the vent hole by a flow of the inflating gas exhausted from the vent hole when the ceiling part. 14 approaches the inflow opening 12 side during inflation.</p> |
