PURPOSE: A method for improving retransmission algorithm of a transmission control protocol is provided to control surplus concentration of an internet efficiently by improving the retransmission algorithm controlling surplus concentration of a TCP. CONSTITUTION: In a method for improving retransmission algorithm of a transmission control protocol, a few stages are included. In the stage of 20, the numbers of duplicate certificated response are measured. If the numbers of duplicate certificated response are three in the stage of 22, a series of numbers, which is sent in a network, is stored in the stage of 24. In the stage of 26, half of the current window is stored. If the restoration condition isn't gotten out of in the stage of 28, the size of the window with the surplus concentration is enlarged in the stage of 30. If the restoration condition is gotten out of in the stage of 28, the value for extension after restoring the evading condition is initialized in the stage of 32. In the stage of 34, the condition of normal TCP transmission is restored.
