PURPOSE: A remote control system of a base computer is provided to enable a user to connect a remote computer to a base computer, and perform necessary tasks on the base computer at a remote location so that it can use effectively the base computer like the computer of the user himself or herself and maximize a computing power. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a network(100), base computers(200), a web OS server(300) and a remote computer(400). The base computers(200) embed an on/off card to switch on/off according to an external control offered by a web OS service, and a remote control base program to support a remote file transfer or a remote control. The remote computer(400) outputs a remote control request signal for driving a specific base computer(200), downloads the remote control program according to the remote control request signal, accesses the specific base computer(200), and performs a remote task processing or file transfer. The web OS server(300) offers the remote control base program to the base computers(200), offers the remote control program to the remote computer(400), checks a power and an IP data of the base computer(200) designated by the remote computer(400), and outputs the IP address to the remote computer(400).
