PRODUCTION OF SUEDE LIKE POLYESTER FABRIC FOR INTERIOR

PURPOSE: A process for preparing the titled polyester fabric having physical properties and feeling similar to natural suede by mixing polyester ultrafine fiber and low temperature fused fiber is provided, which can produce interior fabrics at low cost without generation of environmental pollution and excess investment for equipment. CONSTITUTION: This fabric is prepared by using blended yarn, which is produced by blending a short fiber of polyester composite yarn having a sheath/core structure as a sheath component with a short fiber of a general-purpose polyester polymer as a core component in a ratio of 45:55 to 75:25% by weight, wherein the short fiber of polyester composite yarn having a sheath/core structure contains a polyester copolymer obtained by using combined filament yarn having different shrinkage obtained by air texturing dissolution type polyester composite yarn and high shrinkage polyester yarn, adding isophthalic acid and copolymerizing.
