PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a termite-proof structure and a termite-proof method for a building which can physically prevent the termite from passing through and entering a framework and a floor framing inside a heat insulation material used for a heat insulation foundation. SOLUTION: In the termite-proof structure of A building A to physically prevent the termite 4 from passing through and entering the framework B and the floor framing C inside the heat insulation member 3 closely attached to an outer surface 2a of a riser part 2 of a continuous footing 1 executed on an outer peripheral part of the building A, a stainless steel mesh (sheet) 5 formed of a corrosion resistance material which is resistant against the secretion of the termite 4 is mounted so as to close a space 7 between a lower end 3f of an outer surface 3a of the heat insulation material 3 and the continuous footing 1, and cover a range to at least a predetermined height above the ground from the lower end 3f of the outer surface 3a of the heat insulation material 3.
