PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently removing containing organic halogen compounds such as dioxins and complanar PCB in waste water. SOLUTION: The waste water containing the organic halogen compound is wet-oxidized at 20-370 deg.C under a pressure necessary for the waste liquid to keep liquid phase in the presence of an oxidizing agent with an ion catalyst.
