PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of making a holder of the cylindrical roller bearing rationally in a simple way and at the low cost. SOLUTION: In this method, a cut material is formed into a ring form by the annulus ring forming, both ends are welded and the product is obtained. The annulus ring forming of the present invention is that, as the first stage, a work is formed using upper and lower molds into a form having recesses in both sides and a projection in the center, and, as the second stage, the central projecting part is pressed down against the recessed lower mold 9 by the upper mold 7 of cylindrical form to cause the both ends of the work to approach each other resulting in generation of a ring-like form around the upper mold 7. Obtaining the ring-like form as such, both ends are welded.
