PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a plate for a high strength slide gate having a dense dowel part. SOLUTION: In the method of producing a plate for a slide gate, a mixed granulated powder containing an alumina-carbonaceous raw material, a water- absorbing fine powder of <=1 wt.%, a water-soluble phenol resin and a dispersant is prepared as a blending compost. Oil pressure forming is carried out by using the mixed granulated powder at a low pressure while imparting flow property to the powder by vibration. |
