PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for foam molding having high degree of freedoms and capable of deciding the raised amount of each part without being restricted by the expression of a visible image of a foamable sheet. SOLUTION: A visible plane image 97 such as a color image or the like is formed on the surface of a foaming layer 92 of the foamable sheet 9 having many microcapsules to be expanded by heating therein. A light absorbable pattern 95 of a gray level image is formed on the surface of a base material layer 91 corresponding to the rear surface of the layer 92 of the sheet 9 based on distance image data or the like expressing a stereoscopic shape regarding the image 97. The layer 91 side formed with the pattern 95 is irradiated with a light LT, a heat responsive to the gray level of the image is generated, and the microcapsules in the layer 92 are expanded. As a result, raised parts 96f, 96g each having a predetermined height are generated on the image 97, and foam molding having high degree of freedoms of deciding the raised amount of each part can be conducted without being restricted by the expression of the visible image of the sheet. |
