The present invention relates to a novel oral pharmaceutical stable formulation containing an acid labile benzimidazole compound, which is stabilized with a vitamin E derivative. More specifically, the composition comprises the acid labile benzimidazole compound in solution and/or suspension in oil and/or oil derivatives and a vitamin E derivative as stabilizer. A particular embodiment comprising omeprazole as acid labile benzimidazole compound and vitamin E Polyethylene glycol succinate as vitamin E stabilizer derivative is disclosed.
