<p>A paste of synthetic material or pigment, formed by dispersion or crushing, in simultaneously filtered and degassed immediately after formation. Pref. the paste is fed to a chamber, at just below atmospheric pressure, via a filter, the paste being forced through the filter by the pressure differential. Pref. the paste is agitated by a paddle in the chamber to speed up de-gassing under the reduced pressure. The process combines filtering and degassing stages.</p> |
