<p>Mutant strains of Bradyrhizobium japonicum, BJ5009 and BJ5019, were created by transposon mutagenesis of known B. japonicum strain USDA 110. The strains are characterized by superior competitiveness for nodulation of legumes in the presence of the parent strain and other B. japonicum strains.</p> |
