Telecommunication network connection method for ISDN peripheral device

The connection method allows an ISDN peripheral device to be coupled to a packet-oriented telecommunication network by conversion of the continuous data flow from the peripheral device into network compatible data packets and conversion of packet-oriented data received from the network into a continuous data stream. The interface between the packet-oriented telecommunication network and the ISDN peripheral device allows temporary storage of incoming and/or outgoing data packets in a buffer memory.
