This invention concerns a processing machine (1), particularly for panel-shaped workpieces of wood or wood materials, which consists of: one or more processing stations (14, 15) which essentially lie in the same plane; at least one working unit (8, 9, 10) which can travel over the work stations in three axes (X-, Y and Z-) perpendicular to one another; a suction clamping device (2, 3) which is comprised of a number of suction heads (2) in the plane of the work stations for clamping workpieces (7), and bearing rails (3) upon which the suction heads are arranged. The suction heads (2) are connected transversally to the longitudinal axis of the respective bearing rail (3) from which the heads (2) can be lifted off. A storage magazine (4) is provided in which the suction heads (2) can be deposited and taken out for use. |
