<p>A water saving flush device for toilets is disclosed. In this flush device, a toilet tank (22) is connected to a toilet bowl (11) through a flush pipe (14), with a flush valve (15) seated at the inlet of the pipe (14). A bypass pipe (23) extends from the tank (22) downwardly and is connected to a waste pipe (13) through a bent pipe portion (23a) at a position lower than the apex of the trap of the waste pipe (13), with a bypass valve (25) seated on a valve seat (33) of the pipe (23) and connected to a trip lever (26) though a lift chain (27). A lever mechanism is connected to the two valves (15, 25) through two lift chains (17, 27) so as to selectively open the valves (15, 25) in response to a motion of the lever (26). This flush device is easily and conveniently operated and effectively flushes the toilet bowl (11) while conserving water.</p> |
