The operating device (1) has an electromagnetic actuator (11) with an axially displaced armature (12), supported by closing and opening springs (7,17) in a neutral position between opposing opening and closing magnets (15,16), with the movement of the armature coupled to the gas changing valve (2) via an armature rod (13). The spring bias of each spring can be adjusted individually via a setting disc, a setting thread, or a hydraulic setting element.
