Wrapping sheet (14,16) comprises an external primary layer (30), an internal layer (32) and a layer of permanent adhesive in between (34). A zone of the sheet (22) is heat-sealable. The main zone (36) of the sheet is gas-permeable apart from the zone around the seal, used to initiate the opening of the package. Independent claims are also included for the packages obtained with the wrapping sheet.
