<p>Steel having esp. high tensile strength contains 0.02% C (pref. about 0.007%) and the other components are 11-15% Cr, max 3.5% Mo, max 8% Mn, max. 7% Ni. It is hardened from a temp. >770 degrees C and is thermally treated at 500-700 degrees C. (pref. 600 degrees C). The steel is suitable for mfr. of high - pressure vessels turbine housings, tubes, cables etc.</p> |
