PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating-resin-coated metal sheet which is excellent in prevention of heat generation at a drill bit, lubrication effects, and scatter prevention and discharge of cut chips in drilling operation of printed circuit boards and which has a high quality, can be drilled efficiently, and is suitable for a protective patch. SOLUTION: At least the upper side of a metal sheet is coated with a lubricating resin composition comprising a matrix resin (I) which is a water-soluble modified polyamide and an inorganic powder filler (II) which is a composite oxide derived from a layered silicate mineral. The wt. ratio (in terms of solid content) of ingredient I to ingredient II in the composition is (30-98):(2-70). Ingredient II is a water-swellable modified layered silicate having a crystal structure at least containing Si, Mg, F, Na, Li, and Al. A water-soluble lubricant (III) comprising ethylene oxide units or comprising ethylene oxide units and propylene oxide units and having a mol.wt. of 300-7,000 is incorporated into the lubricating resin composition in a wt. ratio (in terms of solid content) of (I+II):III of (60-95):(5-40). |
