PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-purpose housing device for vehicle for storing the larger number of electronic equipment and accessories in a cabin with good appearance and also to be used as a support base for the electronic equipment or an arm rest. SOLUTION: A multi-purpose housing device for vehicle arranged close to a seat 2 side part in the cabin is mainly formed of three block bodies 4A, 4B, 4C connected to each other through hinge parts 6A, 6B and overlapped with each other in the vertical direction. Each block body 4A-4C is formed so that one block body is separated from other block body while turning it through the hinge parts 6A, 6B and that their shape is changed to the nearly L-shape, and finally changed to the nearly U-shape.
