PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform errors, in the case that a recording medium corresponding to a design selected by a user and the recording medium set to a printer do not match. SOLUTION: In this information processor for transmitting printing data to the printer, at preparation of the printing data corresponding to the design selected by the user by an interactive operation via a monitor 3 and a touch panel 4, information relating to recording paper set to the paper feed unit 6 of the printer is received from the barcode reader 106 of the printer, whether the information and the information relating to the recording paper corresponding to the selected design match is decided and an error message is displayed on the monitor 3 when it is decided that the two pieces of the information do not agree.
